Ladies!!! Slayed hair is the FIRST step to winning Summer.
Remember the last time your stylist slayed your hair so well it bought a tear to your eye? Well imagine that feel times a thousand. That's how I felt the last time I got my hair done.
Breezie the Stylist (https://galaxi-girl-hair.myshopify.com/) does my hair and it was everything dreams are made of... It is the most natural looking a weave has ever been, and I love baby hair so my baby hair was a super plus. I was able to run my fingers through it freely, I didn't have to cut my hairline out of my pics to hide a "line" or anything like that. I was able to go back and forth with middle parts, side parts, or even no part. My ponytail was popping and the curl pattern was magnificent. I combed water and leave in conditioner through it every few days to keep it looking fresh and cute.
I got this style for my Cancun Jumpoff Vacation. Now don't get me wrong this hair style is HIGH MAINTENANCE. My mother was a stylist as well and so I have hair styling in my genes, not to mention I have sat through my share of lace frontal classes while I was on tour with Breezie the Stylist in 2016, so I was able to keep up with my own frontal fairly well in between touch ups. I recommend touch ups every week, but every two weeks is mandatory. So take that in to consideration when you decide which is best for you.
A second option is a lace closure. The lace closure gives you a natural look as well and the maintenance is super easy! Lace closures don't leave any of your hair out and are perfect for vacations because you don't have to worry about getting them wet and they are low maintenance for everyday life. You don't really need touch ups for lace closures and they last about 2-3 months.
Don't forget you always have the option to go with your natural hair as well!! I love my fro too, my hair in its natural state is the easiest style to maintain and it looks great. It's a glorious slay. It can always get wet and I can switch up the parts and play with my own curl pattern. Also braids are great for a Summer Slay, just make sure they don't do it too tight! You need your edges for fall.
Post below to share your favorite Summer Slay Hair Style!!! Sharing is caring!!!
Cute Story:
As my sister was learning to instal weaves I sent her a picture of @kingamaya and I said "can you do this?," she said, "no" and I told her to learn. Fast forward a couple years... she learned, through much trial and error, and is now arguably the best lace frontal stylist in Atlanta.
